be called an action in affiliate marketing depending upon the strategy
of the merchant or the company.
What you have to do to earn money through affiliate program is just
write some review or put an ad of the merchant to your website. It
saves a lot of money of the advertiser and gives more profit to
affiliate because there is third party to get profit.
PPL or Pay per Lead:
Pay per lead is a form of PPP. In pay per lead programs you get paid
when a visitor who is referred by you goes to the website of the
advertiser and then requests a quote or fills up some online form or
survey etc. Finance and insurance companies usually are interested in
same kind of program.
PPS or Pay per Sale: Pay per sale is another form of PPP itself. You can understand by the
name very easily that you get income if a sale is made or when a
visitor comes to your website, is referred to the advertiser by you and
purchases something from there.
The affiliate gets paid twice or more. The process is when a user is
referred by you, you will be paid whenever he will make a purchase. So
if he goes to the merchant's website and purchases something, you get
paid, and then if he goes and then comes back to the website again, you
will be getting paid again for this.
PPC Affiliate Programs:
These programs are used worldwide the most. The requirements for all
the above referral programs can be difficult to you but in PPC programs
you don't have to be embarrased because you get ads with no
requirements of traffic or page views while other affiliate programs do
require such things. When a user clicks on the ad, you get paid.
Usually the amount is from 0.01 to .50 which is given if the ad
isclicked. The most famous PPC program is Google Adsense and the other
one is YPN (Yahoo Publisher Network (Available to America Only)).
