Google Adsense is a leading CPC (Cost
Per Click) program over the internet so far. The persons who want to
make money online are following Google policies to become good Google
Adsense users. The program is very easy to use and you can earn good
income through your website without any difficulty. The persons who use
adsense have to display Google ads on their website and when a user
clicks on any of those ads, the publisher gets paid.
Usually you get a check from Google, or they pay you cash through Western Union depending upon your choice and decision.
Your earning can be less if you don’t
know how to optimize your website for Google Adsense, so this is the
right time for you to increase your income by optimizing your website
for Google Adsense.
Adsense ads are given in many formats. You can obtain any of them but remember the following points:
1) Do not paste such size of ad on your website which looks bad or unpleasant.
2) Don’t try too big sizes. For example, if you are using 728x90 size
of ad and you have only 600 pixels of web space to show it, then it can
only be said something stupid. Ads shown with stupidity can never get
attention from your visitors.
3) A big ad with text links has less attraction than a big ad having to
show image ads only. A big image ad gets more attention than many text
links.
4) Try using such a size which completely matches the size of division
you are using to show it. The division is your web space in which you
are showing your web content. If your content and the ad are using the
same width, the ads look better. Difference in widths can result in

For color and ad formats, there are some more suggestions:
1) Don’t think that using some colorful ads which are using rich colors
can attract your visitors. This is a bad idea for text ads. So just use
the colors which match the color-scheme of your website. Show them as
they are a part of your website.
2) Using too dull colors also makes your ads less effective, so just keep them simple.
3) You can hide the border of an ad by using the same color for a
border which your website is using. For example, if the website’s
background color is white, use white color for adsense ad border.
4) Some people say image ads are good, some say text ads are effective,
so you don’t be confused with ad formats. Please remember that Google
Adsense makers are not idiots. They have made all the ad formats to use
them. If you use one ad format and stay away from the other, this is
your own choice. Google Adsense providers are not a part of it. So just
choose any one of them. Use link units, they are effective because they
look like the website own links if used properly. Use text link ads,
they can be used effectively by choosing a right format and choose
image ads, they are good because they make your website look really
good. But just remember one thing: Don’t show too many ads because of
two reasons.
i) It is a cheap thing to do. People come to see your website, they are
not interested in ads. If they want to see ads only, there are a number
of websites doing the same thing, then why you?
ii) It is against the adsense policies, so please read the adsense policies on how many ads you can show on one page.
You can create custom pallets in
Adsense to match the colors of your website. Don’t use a background
color other than white if your website uses white background. See what
is the color of your links in your website and choose the same color
for your ads. See what simple text is looking like, make the text of
your ads look same.
Showing ads on the top and when a user opens your website he can easily
see your ads, is a very good adsense optimization policy. If you show
ads on bottom, this is not recommended.
Make Adsense channels, name
them in your Adsense account and see how your bottom channels are
working and how is the performance of your top channels. This is a very
good practice if you want good income from adsense. Don’t place your
ads under your menu or navigation bar. Place them in between your
content and the ads will be effective.
